Project summary
The program within which the project is situated aims to improve the collection and treatment of wastewater in Prishtina and the surrounding municipalities (Fushë-Kosovë, Obiliq, and Graçanicë). More specifically, the scope includes the feasibility study, design, and supervision of works related to the establishment of the wastewater treatment plant, major pumping stations, and associated transfer networks. The project will address the severe pollution currently affecting urban and rural areas due to untreated wastewater discharge. Implementation of the project will have a positive impact on the biological environment and water resources downstream of the Sitnica River, as well as on public health, by eliminating diffuse pollution and safeguarding drinking water resources.
